From the Latest Service Bulletin ...
The Village Church will be receiving new members on Sunday March 7th during the morning worship. If you would like to become a member of the church please speak to the pastor or a deacon.
The Annual Birthday Bash will be held today Sunday, February 28th from 5pm-7pm. Both children and adults alike always enjoy this event. There is a yellow pad in Mason Hall to sign up for contributions for the potluck supper & also cake/cupcake makers as well as number of attendees from your family. We have a few surprises in store, one of which will be "name that baby", a game of matching a baby picture to the person you have grown up to be! Start looking for your baby picture now and plan to join us as we celebrate all of our birthdays together! Speak to JoAnne Guyette if you have any questions.
Volunteers are needed for the Peace of Bread meal on March 17th. We need help with set up, cooking, serving and clean up. Please sign up in Mason Hall. Be prepared to wear the color green! The VCC will be providing Easter baskets to families in need. Please support this effort to bring the good news to others. Tags and sign ups are in Mason Hall.
The next VCC book discussion will be held on March 21st, shortly after worship. We will be discussing the book The Year of Living Biblically by A. J. Jacobs. All are welcome to join in. Every little girl deserves a dress. A sewing group at the Blackstone Valley United Methodist Church makes dresses for little girls who do not own a dress. If you know of a little girl who does not have a dress, our sewing group will make her one free of charge. Sizes 4 to 14. We will try very hard to have them ready for Easter. Call 508-234-8070
